Exporting customisable reports allows you to generate, tailor, and download data in a format that best suits your specific needs. Whether you're tracking performance metrics, analysing trends, or sharing insights, customisable exports give you the flexibility to select the most relevant data for your needs.
Export options is available for anyone with access to survey reports.
How to use the export options
1. Head to the report you would like to export.
2. Select the Export options button on the left.

3. Select the format you would like to export the report in from the dropdown:
- Excel: This will breakdown your results page by page with graphs also provided. This will not provide you with the individual breakdowns as a CSV would but it will export the results in a format that is easier to read for further analysis.
- PDF: The report will come in a PDF format that will include graphs. You will be given the choice to select if you would like to include “other, please specify” responses.
- CSV: This will download the report in a CSV format with this providing you with the raw data from the survey including the individual responses for each person that took part in the survey. This can be useful if you have included a prize draw or training opt-in and want to know the details of those that put themselves forward.
- Triple-S format: It is mainly used for statistical purposes and is a language for describing survey metadata. This can be useful if you wish to import your data into other programs.
- PowerPoint: The report will come in Powerpoint slides that will include graphs.
4. Once you have chosen the format, you can either download the full report or choose to customise what you would like to include in the report.
- You can scroll through the report and select/deselect the questions you would like to export.
- Use the filters in the table to select the questions you would like to include or remove.
For example, you may want to remove all of the open ended questions from the report.

- Click on the Question Title box to deselect all open-ended questions from your export.
- Select the 'Yes' option on the filter again to clear it and remove the currently displayed open-ended questions.
You can filter by Question Level (Explori, Company or Custom), Quantitative questions, Open-ended questions, Imported questions and Hidden questions.
You might, for instance, choose to exclude hidden questions if they are not applicable, or apply a filter to focus exclusively on Explori questions where you would like to focus on the core KPIs.
5. Once you're happy with your selection, 'Submit' to export the report.
