Release notes - 17 June 2026

Version – 4.11.1 | Release Date: 17/06/2026 Release Type: New features, Bug fixes

New Features

AI Open-Text Thematic & Sentiment Analysis

  • Explori's in platform AI open-text analysis now automatically analyses open-text survey responses to surface dynamic, event-specific themes and sentiment breakdowns. Rather than reading through individual comments, users can immediately see what respondents are talking about and how they feel about it — with results filterable by theme.

    • Dynamic Theme Generation – Themes are generated from the actual content of responses for each specific question and event, not a generic pre-set list. Results update when manually refreshed or automatically when a survey closes.

    • Sentiment Breakdown – Each theme is accompanied by a sentiment breakdown across all associated responses, surfacing not just what respondents are saying but how they feel about it.

    • Regeneration Controls – Analysis is triggered manually on eligible questions (20+ responses) and updates automatically when a survey closes.

    • Product, Portfolio, Division, and Master users can manually trigger and refresh analysis from the Reports page. Report and Director users can view results but cannot trigger regeneration.

    • Question-Level Exclusion – AI analysis can be disabled at account, survey, or individual question level, giving full control over which questions are processed.

Note: AI open-text analysis is not available to surveys with an Explori Lite licence.

All in one widget creator

  • The dashboard widget creator has been redesigned as a unified, single-screen experience. All configuration: metric selection, data scope, and chart settings are now available in one place, with a live chart preview that updates in real time as you make changes.

    • Smart defaults handle chart type automatically based on the metrics you select, and an advanced toggle reveals additional options for more complex configurations.

    • Existing widgets and dashboards are compatible, legacy widgets can be edited in the new creator without any loss of data

Bug Fixes

  • NPS Score Precision - Resolved an issue where NPS scores were displaying to two decimal places in the Reports page. Scores now display at the correct precision.

  • Data Explorer - Inherited Child Questions – Fixed an issue where the Data Explorer did not correctly render inherited child questions with multiple parents spanning more than one question list.

Deprecations

  • Legacy AI Categorisation (Fixed Thematic Coding) – As part of this release, Explori's legacy fixed thematic code frames are being deprecated and replaced by the new dynamic AI open-text analysis. This change will not happen immediately and users are able to add this functionality to their surveys until 20 July 2026. Full deprecation and removal of suppport will occur on 31 August 2026. Surveys will retain their existing data throughout the transition period. For more detail, see the full deprecation guide.
